Ethereum ETFs Forecasted for July 2 Launch

Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas predicts that spot Ethereum ETFs will launch on July 2, based on recent comments from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding S-1 registration statements.

Market analysts predict that an Ethereum ETF could be approved by July 2, a major milestone for the cryptocurrency. This approval would offer a regulated investment option for both institutional and retail investors, likely drawing significant capital into Ethereum.

Balchunas expects responses within a week and anticipates that the ETFs will start trading the day after final approvals. This follows SEC Chair Gary Gensler’s confirmation that spot Ether ETFs will launch this summer.

Gensler mentioned that stock exchanges approved 19b-4 forms in May and that the issuers are finalizing the registration process.
