The price of Audius (AUDIO) suddenly jumped 20% in the wake of the news that the Web3 music streaming platform was adding support for Tiktok. At the time of writing, Audius was up 18% in the last 24 hours at $0.364.
AUDIO’s trading volume has also shot up a whopping 450% as traders jumped into the recent volatility to capture gains.
Audius, a Web3 music streaming service, announced on Thursday that it has added support for the well-known social networking site TikTok.
Users who are new to Audius can now easily create accounts by connecting their TikTok profiles. Listeners can then instantly import their handle, information, and TikTok verification status to Audius from there.
Users of Audius can sign up to participate using their TikTok accounts, upload videos to the social networking site, and feature tracks from the streaming service.
Users can now use Audius music on their TikTok videos. The integration could extend Audius’ reach because TikTok sounds are a well-liked app feature that can help creators’ videos go viral.
In August 2021, TikTok started allowing Audius streamers to provide music to the platform’s sound library, which marked the beginning of their collaboration.
Cryptocurrencies earlier plunged in the wake of FOMC minutes. The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting minutes from the Jan. 31–Feb. 1 meeting indicated both hawkish and dovish opinions among the attendees, but there was no mention of a break in the U.S. central bank’s rate hike rates.
Bitcoin (BTC) is marginally higher in the last 24 hours at around $23,952 at press time. Several cryptocurrencies were also slightly higher at press time.
