Binance’s NFT marketplace has announced its intention to cease support for the Polygon Network on September 26. Following this date, users will no longer have the capability to purchase, list, or trade NFTs from Polygon, as per Binance’s recent announcement.

In March of this year, Binance NFT initially introduced support for the Polygon Network, making Polygon the third network integrated into the Binance NFT marketplace, alongside Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

Users are advised to withdraw their Polygon NFTs from Binance NFT by the year’s end.

Furthermore, the NFT marketplace will also discontinue its support for the Sandbox NFT staking program. This means that Sandbox LAND NFTs will automatically be unstaked by the end of the current month.

Binance has provided insight into this decision, explaining:

“This decision was made after careful consideration and evaluation, and it is part of our ongoing efforts to streamline product offerings on Binance NFT Marketplace.”

Meanwhile, Polygon’s native token, MATIC, has experienced a 2.2% decline in the past 24 hours, according to data from CoinGecko.
