It maintains outbound connections to multiple networks, improving resistance to attacks and enhancing network security. The introduction of the ‘submitpackage’ Remote Procedure Call streamlines raw transaction lists, optimizing transaction processing and network efficiency.
As part of modernization, v26.0 discontinues legacy wallet creation, emphasizing heightened security. This release coincides with the Swiss city of Lugano accepting Bitcoin and Tether for tax payments and municipal fees.
