Ethereum (ETH) has surpassed the $3,000 mark for the first time since February, trading at approximately $3,024 after a nearly 9% surge in 24 hours.

While still below its November 2021 record of $4,878 and having dipped to $1,387 earlier this year due to economic volatility, this rebound signals renewed investor interest, fueled by a broader crypto market rally driven by Bitcoin’s new all-time highs.

Institutional demand is notably increasing, with BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum ETF (ETHA) recording a record $300.9 million in net inflows on Thursday, contributing to a five-day total exceeding $623 million.

This surpassed its previous December 2024 record, demonstrating a growing appetite for regulated Ethereum exposure. Overall, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs collectively saw $383.1 million in net inflows on the same day, with ETHA leading the gains.

Analysts like Nate Geraci and Eric Balchunas highlighted these record inflows, further bolstered by spot Bitcoin ETFs recording their second-largest daily haul of $1.18 billion, indicating strong ongoing momentum in the crypto market.
