Crypto Billionaires, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao is the richest individual in crypto, according to Forbes, with a net worth of $65 billion.

CZ’s fortune was assessed at $1.9 billion last year, for reference. By calculating the revenue generated by the Binance exchange last year, Forbes arrived at the staggering figure of $65 million. Binance might be worth $300 billion in 2021, according to the Wall Street Journal, if it follows rival Coinbase and goes public.

It’s important to note that the amount of cryptocurrency held by the Binance CEO is unknown. He holds a tiny quantity of Bitcoin and Binance Coin, the exchange’s native asset.

Last year, FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was named the richest crypto millionaire, with a net worth of $24 billion. After raising $400 million from investors such as SoftBank and Tiger Global, FTX, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, was valued at $32 billion. Gary Wang, the chief technology officer of FTX, has also made the list after amassing a wealth of $5.9 billion.

With a net worth of $6.6 billion, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong is ranked third. Despite more than doubling his wealth to $4.2 billion, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen, who was the only cryptocurrency billionaire on the Forbes 400 list in 2019, is now only in fifth place. Jed Caleb of Stellar, who co-founded Ripple with Larsen, was also named to the list.

Among the remaining crypto, billionaires are the Winklevoss twins, Digital Currency Group CEO Barry Silbert, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, and venture capitalist Tim Draper.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is the world’s richest person, with a net worth of $292.8 billion.
