Nifty’s Inc Announces Social NFT Platform with Warner Bros. Partnership and $10 Million Seed Investments

Nifty’s social NFT platform has debuted earlier today with a Warner Bros. partnership. Nifty’s also announced $10 million in seed investments from some blockchain firms. As part of the announcement on July 12, Nifty’s added that it would launch a collection of limited-edition NFTs through its partnership with Warner Bros. The limited-edition NFTs will feature characters from the upcoming movie Space Jam: A New Legacy. The movie is scheduled for theater and streaming release from the 16th of July. 

Several prominent names participated in the $10 million seed round. Some of them include BBTV Holdings Inc., Topps, HENI, Coinbase Ventures, and Forerunner Ventures. Others are Palm NFT Studio, Dapper Labs, A&T Capital and Liberty City Ventures, and Samsung Next. Also, some pre-seed investors like Polychain Capital, Ethereal Ventures, and Draper Dragon Fund increased their stakes in Nifty’s.

This year has seen an expansion of the NFT market with increasing adoption of digital assets and digital collectibles. In the first half of 2021, NFT sales reached $2.5 billion. The trading volume of NFTs has also advanced, and there are predictions that the market will double by October.
