Plans In Progress to Immortalize Ethereum Creator Vitalik Buterin With Unique NFT Collection

Ethereum

A non-fungible token (NFT) called ‘The Vitaliks’ will launch today September 21st in honor of Ethereum inventor, Vitalik Buterin. The NFT collection will comprise 6,969 unique tokens and will have its own unique characteristics and trades.

The project behind this initiative intends to “bring to the NFT space” Buterin’s “special” vision, according to reports. Facilitators of this initiative were inspired by his creation of a veritable community and his creativity.

According to them, Buterin possesses one of the most charismatic and attractive personalities in the crypto space. Immortalizing him through this NFT collection will ensure that his legacy will “forever live on the blockchain”.

The creating team also intends to create a Metaverse around ‘The Vitaliks’ NFT collection. The concept of this compares directly to ‘CryptoPunks’ or ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club’ and features items sporting different physical traits. These include various hairs, headgears, eye colors, skin types, and other fashion accessories that make them unique.

‘CryptoPunks’ and ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club’ are already enjoying mega popularity, especially during the recent NFT craze. Furthermore, both NFTs are providing value for their users beyond their original production cost or purchase. Ownership of either comes with status and prestige. Likewise, ownership of the upcoming ‘The Vitaliks’ NFTs will also grant exclusivity in the Blockchain community.

‘The Vitaliks’ initiative has an already published blueprint and set of objectives. This entails building a strong community and brand, and doing lots of giveaways. The project also intends to build its own merch store, with a governing token. ‘The Vitaliks’ will be available on OpenSea after its launch.
