Ripple, the blockchain company, is gearing up for a substantial workforce expansion, with a strong focus on Canada and several other global locations. The company has revealed its hiring plans in regions like London, Singapore, Australia, and beyond.
In particular, Ripple is actively recruiting diverse talents for its Toronto office, with a keen interest in roles such as Principal Engineers specializing in various domains, Senior Software Engineers with expertise in Machine Learning and Data Platform, and various managerial positions.
The company is also eager to bring on board professionals with skills related to RippleNet Payments and technical program management. Furthermore, there are internship opportunities available, and Ripple is seeking individuals with proficiency in cloud network architecture and IT systems engineering.
Ripple’s expansion into Canada began in June 2022 when it established its first office in Toronto, a move that received a warm welcome from former Toronto Mayor John Tory.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has expressed the company’s strategy to allocate 80% of its hiring efforts to markets outside the United States this year. This approach reflects his dissatisfaction with the U.S. regulatory environment. Nevertheless, Ripple continues to have job openings in San Francisco and New York.
