Ripple Identified as World Economic Forum (WEF) Official Partner

The website of the international non-governmental organization had the information. A list of official partners for the World Economic Forum includes Ripple. The WEF described Ripple as a company that is “doing for value what the internet did for information,” according to the information provided on the WEF website.

The Silicon Valley tech company, according to the WEF, is also committed to financial efficiency and equity.

“Ripple is dedicated to creating powerful gains in financial efficiency, equity, and inclusion. Ripple is developing and enabling future use cases that will catalyze the new digital economy for governments, businesses, and consumers.”

Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, spoke at the WEF 2022 panel discussion in Davos, Switzerland, and it was anticipated that the two organizations would soon collaborate. Garlinghouse spoke on a variety of subjects at the conference, including the status of cryptocurrency regulation in the US.

It is not surprising to learn that Ripple is a partner of the World Economic Forum. Through its effective payment solution, RippleNet, Ripple has established quite a name for itself in the global financial sector. Many financial institutions, including banks, have teamed up with Ripple to use the technology for in-the-moment cross-border settlements as a result of the solution.

Tranglo, SBI Asia, FINCI, the National Bank of Australia (NAB), the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), and several other fintech firms have used Ripple for cross-border settlements. As Tranglo helps Ripple dominate the Southeast Asian payments market, FINCI will help the blockchain company dominate the Eastern European payments market.

Recall that Ripple Labs announced in 2015 that the World Economic Forum had named them Technology Pioneers for their distributed ledger technology.
