Samsung is doubling down on its crypto ambitions with an expanded partnership with U.S.-based exchange Coinbase, aiming to reach roughly 75 million Galaxy users across the United States.
Through the new collaboration, Galaxy device owners who connect via Samsung Wallet will receive three months of free access to Coinbase One, the exchange’s premium subscription. The plan includes zero trading fees on many assets, boosted staking rewards, priority support, and exclusive partner offers. Additionally, new users can claim a $25 bonus after completing their first trade through Samsung Wallet.
The deal also brings deeper crypto integration into Samsung’s ecosystem, allowing users to manage their digital assets alongside other essentials within the Wallet app. Coinbase’s integration with Samsung Pay first went live in July, and the new expansion significantly broadens its reach.
Samsung has been steadily building its crypto presence since 2019, when it debuted the Samsung Blockchain Wallet alongside the Galaxy S10. Since then, it has partnered with platforms like Gemini, added support for Stellar and Tron, and even teamed up with Cardano-based Veritree for a sustainability project. Through its investment arm Samsung NEXT, the company has also backed several blockchain firms, including NFT leader Yuga Labs.
The expanded Coinbase partnership marks another step in Samsung’s long-term plan to blend crypto and mainstream consumer tech, signaling its continued commitment to driving digital asset adoption.
