TRON Hires Former SEC Attorney as First Chief of Compliance

TRON network hires a former United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) supervisory attorney as its first chief compliance officer. The announcement was revealed in a press release on Jan. 9.

A former attorney for the U.S. regulator, David Labhart, will also take on the role of co-general counsel at the blockchain platform. The protocol host the TRX token and has been evolving as a major presence over the past year. A part of it can be attributed to their network and a partial credit is to be given to it’s more often than not controversial CEO Justin Sun.

Tron celebrated its one millionth user account last month. The platform was initially based on Ethereum, but it evolved as a separate protocol. Currently, it is an alternative platform for decentralized applications (DApps) to Ethereum.

In the past 24 hours, TRX has risen  6.4 percent, as per the data from CoinMarketCap, making the token the best daily performer in the top twenty cryptocurrencies by market cap.
