TRON’s Total Transfer Value Exceeds $5 Trillion

Due to its promise of high throughput and cheap fees, Tron is still one of the most sought-after blockchains in the cryptocurrency sector. The Tron blockchain is on par with its rivals as an open-source chain with integrated smart contract functionality. Given that the network’s overall transfer value has surpassed $5 trillion recently, Tron appears to have reached a new milestone.

Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, announced the accomplishment on Twitter on Thursday using information from TronScan, the official blockchain explorer for Tron. Tron’s total transfer value is currently $5.2 trillion, according to TronScan. This metric represents the total value of all transactions made on the Tron chain since its inception. TronScan data also reveals $7.9 billion in transfers over 24 hours.

Additionally, it appears that within the previous 24 hours, 128,336 new accounts have been added to the Tron blockchain. The total number of accounts now stands at an astounding 109 million. Additionally, there have been over 4 million transactions in the previous 24 hours, bringing the chain’s overall transaction volume to 3.7 billion at the moment.

Since its creation, the Tron blockchain has experienced phenomenal growth. Tron is the second-largest blockchain by total value locked (TVL), with a total value locked (TVL) of $5.7 billion. The network is only behind Ethereum, which at the time of publishing had a TVL of $34.25 billion.

Tron outperforms other chains including Binance Smart Chain, Solana, and Arbitrium, accounting for 9.73% of the TVL across all chains. Tron’s several market protocols are responsible for its outstanding achievement in terms of total value locked. Tron includes justLend, SUN, JustStables, and SocialSwap protocols.
