UFC Enters Sponsorship Deal with Crypto.com Worth $175 Million

Mixed martial arts organization Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced a sponsorship deal worth $175 million with crypto exchange Crypto.com. According to the announcement on the 7th of July, the collaboration is a fight-kit partnership.

Under the 10-year agreement, UFC fight kits, including shorts, walk-out hoodies, and top bras, will be branded with “Crypto.com.” In addition, the martial arts organization will give Crypto.com a brand presence on clothing worn by the training staff

Furthermore, the sponsorship deal means that Crypto.com is now a part of UFC’s newly created sponsorship category, “Cryptocurrency Platform Partner.”

The CEO and co-founder of Crypto.com, Kris Marszalek, referred to the deal as a “historic moment.” The CEO added that the sponsorship supports the global transition to cryptocurrency through sport. He continued:

“This is just the beginning of a long relationship with UFC, and we’re looking forward to what we will build together.”

Lately, the UFC has slowly been moving into the crypto space. In May, UFC announced its collaboration with Socios.com and Chilz to launch a fan token. Also, the martial arts organization partnered with Stake.com to launch unique digital UFC content for Stake’s customers.

In addition to the various activities buzzing around the crypto market, NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers partnered with blockchain company StormX. Per the partnership, Trail Blazers will feature the StormX logo on its team jersey over the next five years.
