Amid the ongoing non-fungible token (NFT) frenzy, American actress Lindsay Lohan has revealed plans to launch a new NFT on an upcoming marketplace powered by TRON. Lohan tweeted about TRON for the first time ever on the 11th of February. Responding to her tweet, TRON founder Justin Sun welcomed the actress to the “TRON family.”
A day before the tweet, Lohan promoted her first NFT artwork. The artwork, which was on ETH-powered NFT marketplace Raible, eventually sold for 33 WITH.
In a more recent tweet on the 18th of March, the American actress said she would be talking with Sun on the audio-chat app Clubhouse. She said the discussion at 10:30 PST would be about her upcoming NFT artwork. She added:
“We’ll talk about my new drop through @thefandao soon and how we are working together with TRON to take the NFT to the next stage.”
Cryptoglobe revealed that there is another prominent celebrity who is also about to launch NFTs on TRON. Paris Hilton told Sun in a tweet posted on the 17th of March that the founder should look forward to her upcoming NFTs. Hilton minted her first NFT in 2020 and has said that she is “ready to go big in NFTs.”
