The CryptoPunks project comprises random characters that have interesting and unique features. Although it started back in 2017, CryptoPunks did not become popular until very recently.

CryptoPunk #1886 was sold as one of the 88 zombie CryptoPunks. It currently ranks thirteenth among the highest-selling NFTs in the collection. Currently, the most expensive are CryptoPunks #3100 and #7804, which cost $7.58 million and #7804 million, respectively.

In recent times, NFTs have become all the rage. CryptoPunk creator, Larva Labs, has pulled in more than 9,600 sales over the last 12 months. Larva Labs’ sales have totaled 197,100 ETH, equal to $346 million. Last month, CryptoPunk #7523, one of nine Alien CryptoPunks, sold for $11.7 million on Sotheby. #7523 (also referred to as “Covid Alien”), is one of the most unique, spotting a mask among other features.

Generally, CryptoPunk NFTs are essentially digital artworks. Numbering up to 10,000, CryptoPunks are unique pixel characters in several categories. There are 88 zombies, 6,039 males, 24 apes, 9 aliens, and 3,840 females.
