Collection From ‘The Beatles’ Music History to Auction Off as NFTs

According to reports, property from English legendary rock band ‘The Beatles’ will be auctioned off as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Julian Lennon, the son of Beatles member John Lennon, is selling some of the rarest musical memorabilia from his famous father’s collection. The collection titled the ‘Lennon Connection: The NFT Collection’, will auction as an audio-visual NFT collectible. Furthermore, the narrative voiceover will be provided by Julian himself.

Specific items from John’s memorabilia include a coat from the “Magical Mystery Tour” film and his cape from “Help!” Additional items from the private collection also include three guitars and handwritten arrangement notes for “Hey Jude” courtesy of Paul McCartney. All the aforementioned items are currently some of the most coveted memorabilia from music history up for NFT auction.

Bidding for ‘Lennon Connection: The NFT Collection’ will commence on Monday, February 7th, in collaboration with NFT marketplace YellowHeart and Julien’s Auctions. Furthermore, a portion of the NFT sale proceeds will go towards Lennon’s White Feather Foundation.

Pursuant to the terms of sale, Julian gets to retain the original physical items, while the eventual buyer would own the rights to the unique NFTs. The starting price for the highest-valued item in the collection, which is McCartney’s handwritten note, is $30K.
